What is a District Association (DA)
A Da is a unit of The Camping and Caravanning Club run by members for members to host social camping events.
The DA run, with the help of stewards which can be any member they do not have to be on the committee, meets / rallies of 5 nights or less and THSs of more than 5 nights these can be in a full facilities site or in a sports field / farmers field etc! where you need your own facilities.
There may be social events organised or it may just be a restful meet. Either way you are free to participate in as much or as little as you like.
Along with the other Scottish District Associations, we come under the umbrella of the Scottish Region whose website is https://scottishregion.co.uk
As a member of the Camping and Caravanning Club you can visit any Region, District Association or Section and be made most welcome.

Join The Camping and Caravanning Club today to benefit from over 100 years of expertise as well as specially selected discounts tailored to our members. As soon as you are a member you will be assigned to a District Association (DA). This will be the closest DA to where you live and shown on your membership card. You are then free to go camping with any of the 93 DA's over 13 Regions in the UK.
